Modular Homes

1. Reinforced Inside Corners

Manufactured HomesPaper faced reinforced inside corners are used on all drywall corners, which makes a stronger and straighter corner. The strength helps reduce cracks and gives the home a beautiful finished appearance.

2. Drywall Screws

Manufactured Homes"Nail Pops" can occur due to panel movement or lumber shrinkage and require on-site repair. By attaching sheetrock panels with drywall screws rather than nails, the screws significantly reduce the occurrence of "nail pops."

3. Fiber Tape & Two Coats Of Joint Compound
Modular HomesHigh strength joint tape is used on all walls. Two coats of joint compound are applied, rather than 1 coat or 2 light-weight coats. First, High Early Strength to give exceptional bond and rapid strength development. Second, Lightweight for easy sanding.
4. 1/4" OSB on Marriage Wall and Exterior Sidewalls
Manufactured Homes1/4" oriented strand board is placed between studs and sheetrock panels in the marriage wall and on the exterior sidewall. This precaution aids to decrease the panel movement in these walls and insures a solid backing.
