1. Blown-In Cellulose Insulation
Manufactured HomesBlown-In cellulose insulation is able to fill in gaps and holes around the rafter system. By aiding to find the hard to reach areas, blown-in insulation provides tremendous coverage in the roof cavity preventing leaks and drafts. (available up to R50)
2. 2" x 6" Wall Studs with Owens Corning® Insulation
Modular HomesUsing 2" x 6" exteriord wall studs allows BonnaVilla® to insulate the exterior walls with R19 and optional R21 Owens Corning® fiberglass insulation, which is resitant to moisture absorption thereby deterring permanent loss of R value.
3. Marriage Wall Foam Gasket / First 2 Bays Insulated
Manufactured HomesTo resist moisture and air infiltration, the first two bays of the marriage wall on both sections and ends are insulated with R11 Owens Corning® fiberglass insulation. A fowam gasket is alos placed around the perimeter to resist leaks and drafts.
4. Low E Dual Pane Argon Gas Filled Windows
Modular HomesLow E glass with argon gas, in the summer, lets visible sunlight in while blocking infared and ultraviolet solar energy that drives up cooling costs and damages the interior of your home. In winter, it reflects room side heat back into the room.
5. Perimeter Heat
Manufactured HomesBonnaVilla® places registers in the perimeter of the home allowing it to cool and heat from the exterior to the interior. This puts the air where it is needed first to change the climate, since the exterior of your home is the most susceptible to the outside temperatures.
6. Continuous Vapor Barrier And Optional House Wrap
Modular HomesMoisture entering into walls can be very destructive. To help prevent this, BonnaVilla® uses a continuous vapor barrier. The continuous paper spans the entire exterior walls, and is placed behind the sheetrock and glued to each stud.
